The Woodland Mills Debarker turns your chainsaw into a dedicated log-prep tool, making it quick and easy to remove bark, cut shallow notches, and clean up log surfaces before milling. Powered directly by the chain, it mounts to your chainsaw bar and includes interchangeable sprockets for compatibility with both .325" and 3/8" pitch chains, so it works with a wide range of saws.

By removing bark and surface debris before milling, the Debarker helps keep dirt and grit out of your sawmill blades, supporting cleaner cuts and more consistent blade performance over time. It’s a practical way to prepare logs in the field before they ever reach the mill, whether you’re milling lumber, building structures, or processing fencing material.

The debarker body is made from cast aluminum with a powder-coat finish, while the roller head is machined aluminum and holds two hardened steel blades for consistent cutting action. Heavy-duty bearings support smooth rotation, and the simple, serviceable design makes routine maintenance straightforward for long-term use.

Product Features

BROAD CHAINSAW COMPATIBILITY

The Debarker comes with interchangeable sprockets for both .325" and 3/8" pitch chains, so it works with many common chainsaws right out of the box. That makes it easy to add to your setup without needing special adapters or a dedicated saw.

RIGID ALUMINUM CONSTRUCTION

The body is made from cast aluminum with a powder-coated finish, while the roller head is machined from solid aluminum to keep the blades aligned properly. Paired with heavy-duty bearings, this design helps the head spin smoothly and cut consistently.

REPLACEABLE HARDENED STEEL BLADES

The roller head holds two hardened steel blades that can be replaced when they wear down. Instead of replacing the whole unit, you can simply swap the blades and keep working, which helps keep maintenance straightforward and costs lower.

PROTECTS SAWMILL BLADES

Removing bark, dirt, and grit before milling helps keep abrasive material out of the cut. This can lead to cleaner milling, steadier blade performance, and longer life from your sawmill blades.
