This bundle includes both the track extension and the matching trailer extension, giving your existing Woodlander® Trailer Package an additional 6’ 5” (1.95 m) of cutting capacity. With this extension package installed, your sawmill can mill logs up to 16’ 11” (5.1 m) in length.
The track extension is built from 1/4″ (6 mm) thick, 2-1/2″ × 4″ (63 mm × 101 mm) “L” channel and reinforced with heavy-duty 3″ × 6″ (76 mm × 152 mm) rectangular cross supports. These supports distribute the log’s weight evenly across a wide bearing surface to prevent indentations and increase track rigidity. Each cross support is topped with a stainless-steel bunk cap to reduce friction when rotating and positioning logs and prevent staining from contact with painted surfaces when milling certain woods, such as oak. The track extension also includes an additional adjustable quick log clamp and log supports to securely hold logs during milling.
The trailer extension adds matching frame length and under-track support, integrating with the existing Woodlander® side rails. It also includes additional jack stands for enhanced stability and leveling when milling longer logs.
